ABOUT THIS 2 DAY CLINICAL- INTENSIVE SEMINAR
Open to military and non-military providers. A 17.5-hour training module stuffed into 2 days.
This class will address the wide spectrum of treatments necessary when working with the military: from the elite (but injured) athlete to the polytrauma victim returning from the battlefield.
1/3 of the class will address aquatic training options for common athletic injuries (overuse injuries, ligament tears, stress fractures, low back pain). It will also teach highly original vertical aquatic training routines used by elite and professional athletes.
2/3 of the class will address hands-on aquatic solutions for treating patients with TBIs, amputations, SCI, multiple fractures, PTSD and other battlefield-common injuries. Includes samples of challenging progressions for the military man or woman returning injured from war. Addresses transition to post-rehab aquatics.
